Dr Siân Walker

Dr Siân Walker joined the pharmaceutical industry as Associate Director, Clinical Research at Wyeth Research working on Phase II and III studies. She then moved into a Medical Adviser role at the same company. Following a period as Senior Medical Adviser at Bristol-Myers Squibb, she spent a significant time with Novartis as Medical Manager, Cardiovascular and Diabetes and then Director of Transplantation and Immunology.

 

She returned to Wyeth as Head of Medical Affairs with responsibility for Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information and the Biotechnology group. This included a period as UK Medical Director. Her most recent role was as European Medical Director at Wyeth Europa in the Biotechnology area. In this latter role she gained significant international strategic experience developing and executing a European Phase IV programme.
